In the room
Small enough to live on a nightstand.
It does not announce itself. Matte body, no blinking lights, no fan you can hear over a page turn. It sits next to the lamp and waits.
- Quiet enough to forget it is running.
- One cable, no stand, no mount.
- Two finishes: Ink Black and Linen White.
How it works
Three steps to a ceiling full of pages.
No stand, no rigging, no reading glasses balanced on your forehead. Set it down and look up.
Point it up
Set BookCast on the nightstand and aim it at the ceiling or the wall. Auto-focus and auto-keystone square the page for you.
Open your book
Connect over Wi-Fi and open the reading app you already use. Your library, your bookmarks, your place in the chapter.
Lie down and read
Dim the warmth to match the room and turn pages from the remote — without lifting your head off the pillow.
Built for the dark
Warm light, not screen light.
BookCast is tuned closer to a reading lamp than a monitor — low blue, dimmable down to candle level, steady enough to hold a full chapter without your eyes arguing.
- Dims low enough to read beside someone asleep.
- Warm colour temperature, adjustable through the night.
- Auto-keystone keeps the page square even at an angle.
Compared
Every other way to read in bed asks something of you.
Not a knock on paperbacks. Just an honest look at what each one costs you at midnight.

Questions
Everything you would ask before buying.
Anything else, email us — a person answers.
What do I need to use it?
A wall or a ceiling, a power outlet and Wi-Fi. Everything else is in the box.
Does it work with the books I already own?
Yes. BookCast connects over Wi-Fi and opens the reading apps you already use, so your library, your highlights and your place in the chapter all come with you.
How big is the page?
Roughly 20 inches to 120 inches, depending on how far from the surface you set it.
Will it wake the person next to me?
It dims well below a bedside lamp, and the light points at the ceiling rather than into the room.
Can I use it away from home?
Yes. It is small enough for a bag and works on any flat surface — a hotel ceiling, a tent, the underside of a bunk.
Is it only for books?
No. It runs the apps you would expect on a smart projector, so it doubles as a film projector when you are not reading.
