Questions
Everything you would ask before buying.
Anything else, email us — a person answers.
What do I need to use it?
A wall or a ceiling, a power outlet and Wi-Fi. Everything else is in the box.
Does it work with the books I already own?
Yes. BookCast connects over Wi-Fi and opens the reading apps you already use, so your library, your highlights and your place in the chapter all come with you.
How big is the page?
Roughly 20 inches to 120 inches, depending on how far from the surface you set it.
Does it have its own speaker?
EDIT ME — confirm the speaker spec with your supplier before answering this one.
Will it wake the person next to me?
It dims well below a bedside lamp, and the light points at the ceiling rather than into the room.
Can I use it away from home?
Yes. It is small enough for a bag and works on any flat surface — a hotel ceiling, a tent, the underside of a bunk.
Is it only for books?
No. It runs the apps you would expect on a smart projector, so it doubles as a film projector when you are not reading.
How long does shipping take, and what if it is not for me?
EDIT ME — add your real dispatch windows, delivery times and returns process here before launch.

From the shelf
What readers say.
"Bedtime Reading, Solved" - I got it for reading before sleep and it changed how the evening ends. The page goes up on on the wall and I can read from the sofa without holding anything or squinting at a screen. My partner has started reading again too, which I did not expect.
"The Gift Everyone Asks About" - Bought one for my sister and ended up ordering a second for myself before hers had even arrive. It weighs almost nothing so it goes from the bedroom to the ktichen without a thought, and everyone who sees it wants to know where it came from.
"Set Up In A Minute" - Plugged it in, aimed it at the wall and the picture straightened itself out. I expected to spend an evening fiddling with settings and instead I was watching in about a minute.
Turn the light off. Keep reading.
